River water height (5'2"-5' 4" overall height total). It is still above some property owner's seawalls yet though. Mine is, just under the top of the rocks by 3.5 inches. If my dock was installed, it would be 32" under water-----It is over my neighbors seawalls currently and mine is built higher than theirs. Zero precipitation in the gauge-----RIVER: HIGH DEPTH. WIDNR allowed me to place rock along my shoreline to prevent soil erosion and is now over the top of that and at the 1st lift in my lift system that holds my riverbank together and nearing my 1 set of walkway platforms to get to the dock. It is at approximately 6' higher than the normal depth.----- My dock, if installed, would easily be almost 3' under water. -----I measured the 4' staircase frame that I install going from the riverbank platform frame to the in the water dock frame. Using the connecting holed bracket of the stairs to the platform footing pads, It is 48" tall. I then measured the height of the water to the Riverbank Platform Frame bolts that connect the stairs. That is currently 16" from these bolts. The "water dock" platforms on the frame when assembled annually are about 40" above the water at the shoreline. (legs of the dock are never adjusted). ---Normally the water level on the shoreline is ankle deep or 5- 6". So from the shoreline sand to the top of the water dock 40" + 48" for the stairs to the connecting bolts = 88" minus
the 16" water level to the Riverbank frame stair bolts makes it 72" or 6' feet from the sand to the top of the water currently. |

Snow pack SWE from backyard taken at 6:00 a.m.= .49
At approximately 7:15 a.m. Graupel pellet snow started. Coming down light to medium rate and ended 7:58. By 8:40 a.m winds started to pick up and by 9:20 this light density snow started blowing off the roofs at a steady pace. 10:30 a.m winds still strong but dry air moving in, creating pockets of blue sky.

Snow depth at approximately 26' above river shoreline at 4" but with a 1/2" of underlying compressed icy crust beneath. At approximately 56' above the shoreline it has maintained 3" of snow depth. "Back yard" also maintains the same 3" snow depth reading. Snow expected tonight and overnight. Nautical Twilight at 6:01 a.m. and Sunrise at 7:08 a.m. Sunset tonight at 5:04 pm cst jet stream on top of us as well. |

Core samples collected in 2 locations at 5:30 a.m. and noticed some compression in the snow: 26'up from river shoreline was 4-3/4" and today 4-1/2" and at the approx 56' mark above shoreline was 3-1/2" down to 3" due to wind and compression. Snow Core at 56' above shoreline 3.0" of snow= .66 actual, 26' above shoreline 4.5" of snow = .88 SWE actual
Core sample at "backyard patio area" taken yesterday 2/3/2025 and that reading is on that date of 3"=.60 SWE.
TODAY"S SWE READING AT 56' ABOVE RIVER SHORELINE "top of the hill" IS WHAT IS ENTERED IN SNOW PACK. |

| 2025-02-01 | 7:00 AM | 0.00 | 0.0 | NA | 2.0 | NA | | Due to the complex terrain and river (water feature) I receive 3 average readings. Approximately 26' up from the river water level/ shoreline, snow pack is at 3" on the dot on a level surface and that is 80' long, on the flatland above, another 56' above the river shoreline level it is actually 2". (top of the hill). Back yard level surface is 1.75" Temperature factor along the shore due to the icy river is key on snow melt and snow pack. The farther away from the river, the lower the snow pack. The average for these 3 measured locations is 2.25 Snow melt during the day 7:00 a.m. 1/31 at 2.20" to 7:00 a.m. 2/1/25 at 1.75" at the "backyard" measuring points. Each measurement point gets 5 measured reading points. Above freezing temperatures account for snow melt and received that for the majority yesterday 1/31/2025 with average temperature midday at 36 degrees above zero with a high of 37. Other key factors such as asphalt roofs, pavement heating, road salt/chemicals areas are avoided as to not interfere with data from my readings. Temperature reading at 7:00 a.m. is 8 degrees above zero and calm with no wind and 50% cloud cover. A beautiful golden sunrise. 5:03 pm start of a very fine misty snow. Wind blowing ESE 18 degrees above zero. No measurable accumulation at present time |
