Several iterations of storms yesterday and last night. I filed two hail reports from back-to-back cells. The first was wind-driven hail from the west max'ing at about 0.75-inches. Observer at TX-VV-38 sent me a picture of 1.00-inch hail from that event. Shortly after that, another hail-resulting cell came wind-driven primarily from the northeast, but not as strong as the first cell, though the hail was slightly bigger on the maximum size (1.00-inch, measured), and more abundant in nature overall amongst the smaller hail. The wind on my Davis station (20 ft) was a 40 MPH gust from the west during the first event (my station is partly blocked to that direction), and the second cell resulted in 32 MPH from the northeast (open exposure). There was considerable street runoff with mud everywhere. There were several high-water rescues in place and accidents through town. From my observation location, I could see the floodway at Kings Way/Mary Lou filled up, and there was a car stuck in it. It was still filled up as of 5:00 AM this morning though some trucks were passing through it anyway. A third storm happened around 10:30 PM or so, and was mostly rain and some loud thunder/nearby lightning. I did hear a brief few hailstones hit the windows and garage door (facing west), but it was so brief and mixed with much more rain, I didn't get a size, though it sounded pretty small and isolated. I didn't notice any notable tree damage of wind-related issues in the neighborhood, though there was one small tree uprooted on Mary Lou and Jaimie Way when I went for my run this morning.
