| 2025-05-03 | 8:00 AM | 1.05 | NA | NA | NA | NA | | We received three rounds of thunderstorms yesterday May 2 from about 3pm through about 9pm, approximately. Small hail (pea, dime, penny and nickel sizes) occurred in the first round intermittently - not a heavy hail event. Lots of cloud to ground lightning and doppler radar showed a rotating tornadic-like velocity signature (likely aloft) on several minutes of scans as the the first storm pushed across southern Kendall County, across Boerne and out of the county. We had some gusty winds but not tree damage. And no hail damage. Leaves and tree limb twigs down off of trees were observed in the first round of storms. Cloud to ground lightning strikes were intense in sound in all three storms. |
