Schools still closed. Backyard still an ice rink at observation time but I was determined to get a Snowpack measurement so I cut out the core with a knife - hope that is allowed - it’s all ice at this point. There was a thin layer of new ice on rain gauge and plants - resembles frost - I think it was moisture from freezing fog? Temperature at observation was 24 degrees F with sunny skies and calm wind. |
