We had no new snow flurries yesterday. My husband shoveled and plowed with our snow plow attachment on our Polaris, which cleared off some ice, but the ground is still covered in ice. Some of the icicles melted but a lot are still left. I can see some wood on our deck closest to the house but the rest is still covered in ice. Our back doors are still frozen shut. My husband cleared the ice off the anemometers on our weather stations, so they are measuring wind speed again. Praying it will get warm enough today that the rest of the ice will melt or at least soften enough for the snowplow attachment to remove it so we can get down our long driveway. |

I've been hearing lots of trees and branches breaking; however, nothing is close to our house. The doors to the back of the house are all frozen shut. We have three weather stations, and all three are not registering wind speed because the anemometers are frozen. Thank God we still have power. We are on 15 acres on a hill with a steep 3/10 mile driveway, so are unable to go anywhere, We have all the supplies we need. The birds are well-fed.
