| 2026-02-13 | 7:00 AM | 0.00 | 0.0 | NA | 5.5 | NA | | Measured snowpack depth this morning. Took 8 readings all around my house. Temps have reached above freezing the last couple of days, the first time in a long time. There is still a hard deep crust on the snow so I have to chop a slot in it with my hand axe to take a measurement. |

| 2026-02-09 | 7:00 AM | 0.00 | 0.0 | NA | 5.5 | NA | | So here's the deal. The current snowpack consists of an icy crust about 2 inches thick. It's hard enough to support my weight. The temperatures have been way below normal in my area and so there is no melting and very limited sublimation. The powdery snow beneath the icy layer has reached its limit of compaction. Thus, making reasonable accurate snowpack depth measurements has been difficult. It is impossible to determine snowpack SWE as it is impossible for my cylinder to penetrate the crust without breaking. So results are going to be variable. |

| 2026-01-26 | 7:00 AM | NA | 7.5 | NA | 8.0 | NA | | This report is a mess. My gauge was completely filled with snow/ice. This has never happened before at any time of the year. I wish I could send you a picture. My snowboard was useless due to the windy conditions. In fact the snow on the board is shaped in a perfect pyramid. I wish I could send you a picture. The depth on the board was 4.5 inches which is not even close to how much snow we got. The 24 hour snowfall number is the average of multiple measurements I took around my home on solid surfaces, i.e. patio and driveway. The snowpack total comes from multiple measurements I took from grass surfaces that did not appear to have drifts of which there are a few. Now the sleet that came after the rain which lasted a good while compacted the softer snow beneath which has caused lower readings. Ice accretion was negligible. {EDIT: Observer reported 4.24 for new gauge catch. This is high and appears depth on snowboard was entered by mistake. Changed report of 4.24 to NA until observer can be contacted. CoCoSTAFF DNT} |
| 2026-01-25 | 7:00 AM | 0.17 | 1.9 | 0.18 | NA | NA | | So the storm has started and I think it was about at 4am. Not much accumulation so far. I am not reporting Snowpack data because before the storm began there was about half the ground with no snow and about half the ground with varying amounts of snow. So this measurement would not be reliable. For this event, Snowpack data will be taken off the snowboard. I have a sleet stick out and at this time, there was no accumulation. |

Then, it snowed again over night. So the new snowfall since 3pm yesterday was 0.5 inches and the new snowfall SWE since 3pm yesterday was 0.05 inches. |
