This is the heaviest snow we have had in decades. We had two 13" snow storms in February of the winter of 1979 and a few dozen 8 to 9 inchers in the last 47 years but this was awesome : 2 and 1/2 foot snowdrifts due to blowing and drifting snow ; winds in excess of 25 mph several times . Temperatures between 20 and 15 F. during the storm . 13 F. this morning , Wow!!!! Beautiful and awesome. I have been a CoCoRaHS reporter since 2015 ; over 11 and 1/2 years, and this is the most awesome snow storm I have seen during this time. |
