we had 50 mph winds and a lot of drifting while snow was light and fluffy. I took 6 core samples in areas that appeared representative of true snow accumulation and averaged the readings. Snowfall=5.7”, snow SWE=1.01”. Readings taken at 11:00 am. Initial gauge catch of .05” was from cylinder on mount overnight while there were high winds. The SWE is more representative of our almost 24 hour snow storm water content.
