Snowboard and rain gauge measurements were collected at 7:30 PM because we had to use the snowblower to clean out the driveway and the snow was nearly done at that time. Precipitation concluded by 8 PM. There was a trace amount of snow on the snowboard but that is probably from snow blowing off of the trees since there was no new snow in the Tropo rain gauge. There was a notable 1 to 1.5 inch discrepancy between the snow ground depth and the snow amounts on the boards. The ground depth is likely more representative of what fell, but the observations were kept separate for this report. |
