Sleet and icey kernel snow started mixing in around 8:50 a.m. I took a reading at 2:09 p.m. amidst snow/sleet. The board measured a depth of 2.1 inches with a water content of 0.87 inches. The gauge yielded 0.98 inches of precipitation.
This morning I measured the board at 0.5 inches of accumulation (subsequent to the 2:09 p.m. measurement). The water content was 0.28 inches. I took a core sample in the grass. Snow/sleet depth was 7.5 inches with a water content of 2.15 inches.
