| 2026-02-07 | 7:00 AM | 0.04 | 0.2 | 0.02 | NA | NA | | Snowboard measured 0.2 inches at 7 this morning, partly of ice and partly of snow. We had plenty of light snow during the day yesterday, but it all melted as quickly as it fell. However, the snow didn’t do much more than wet the ground through the day as snowfall rates were never high enough to accumulate. Precipitation started back up again late yesterday evening and continued through the overnight, which is when the bulk of precipitation occurred. Found both ice (clear) and snow pellets (opaque) in the gage and on the board at observation. |

| 2026-01-27 | 7:00 AM | T | 0.1 | T | NA | NA | | On and off light show showers much of the day. Could have called them intense flurries. Anyway, only a trace in the gage, though I would have thought it was more. Did pick up a tenth of an inch of snow on the board. Did not take a measurement of the snow pack. It is mostly thick ice. |
| 2026-01-26 | 7:00 AM | 1.62 | 0.8 | 0.07 | 2.0 | 0.88 | | Crazy weather for the period. Started off with freezing rain. With the temperature oscillating between 32 and 34, could say we had a mix of rain and freezing rain through the day. Rain changed back over to snow in the late afternoon…early evening. Did manage to take a liquid measurement around 6:30 pm during a break in the precipitation. Precipitation fell as snow thereafter. There was light snow still falling at 11 pm. At 7 am this morning there were ongoing flurries. Measured 0.8 inches of new snow on the board. For the snowpack depth, snow…ice core, I able to find a representative spot and chip away at the underlying ice to get a decent cross section of the snow and ice. I found 1.3 inches of ice from yesterday underneath the 0.8 inches of new snow. The snow and ice was thick enough to support my weight in general and where it broke while walking there was a fairly loud cracking sound. It took a bit to melt the core for the snow pack. |
| 2026-01-25 | 7:00 AM | 1.04 | 2.1 | NA | 1.5 | 0.81 | | Very light snow started about 1:30 pm yesterday afternoon. I measured 0.7 inches of snow at 7 pm in the evening. I measured 1.2 inches at 10 pm. By about 11 pm, precipitation became mixed, mainly snow and sleet, becoming all sleet by 1 am this morning. At 1 am I measured 1.5 inches. Everything remained sleet until a little after 4 am, when freezing rain mixed in with the sleet. I measured my maximum snowfall at 4 am, which was 2.1 inches total of snow and sleet. Thereafter, the snow and sleet was compacted below my 4 am measurement with the mix to freezing rain. By around 5 am, precipitation was just freezing rain and remained so until observation at 7 am. I do not have a SWE for the measured 2.1 inches at 4 am. At observation time I measured 1.7 inches snow depth with a SWE of 0.81 inches. I also measured an average of about 0.1 inch of ice at 7 am. Snowpack was 1.7 inches, rounded to 1.5 for the nearest half inch. |

| 2026-01-15 | 7:00 AM | 0.13 | 0.4 | 0.02 | 0.1 | 0.01 | | Had 0.11 inches of rain by 6 p.m. yesterday evening. Precipitation changed over to snow after that. Had a good snow shower or band that developed and from radar it appeared we were on the northern fringe and just inside of the band. Measured at 10 p.m. yesterday evening just after that band shifted south of us and had 0.4 inches of snow with 0.02 liquid equivalent. Warm ground temps kept the asphalt just wet. Only had some very light snow after that with little additional snow accumulation. This morning had 0.1 inches left on the board, water equivalent of 0.01 inches. It was the same with the snowpack depth. |

| 2026-01-12 | 7:00 AM | 0.01 | 0.1 | 0.01 | NA | NA | | Snow showers yesterday, mainly in the morning. One particular snow shower just before noon was intense, actually a snow squall that created whiteout conditions for about 5 minutes or so. That laid down a quick tenth of an inch of accumulation. Everything melted fairly quickly however, but I did have time to take a quick measure. The snow squall had some very gusty winds as well. A second notable shower occurred in the early afternoon, but was much shorter in duration and only provided a trace of new snowfall as rates were not fast enough to prevent melting. That shower had a considerable amount of snow pellets. |
