Almost no rain inside the gauge, meaning a trace of rain had fallen. although it was closer to 0.01 inches, I almost always round down on the count of 1/100ths of a inch to ensure accuracy. I also believe that the fog and the humidity were a factor to this measurement this morning.
Side note:
Why my station was down for over two years was nearly just a rain gauge problem, because I had to find where to get the most accurate one of my measurements to make it work. also to mention, I had quit my observations, because I never took time out of my day to ensure the weather reports were accurate either. (I was just putting in whatever I saw, only because I didn't want to go outside!)

There was none in the rain gauge as it seemed, although I didn't have time to go check, due to an appointment.
But I do remember that there was a trace of rain yesterday, when I checked last afternoon at around 1806 UTC (2:06 PM EST).
