A warm day then a period of training rain cells moved through the area. Light rain started at 1/8 @ 02:30p. More sustained and then heavier periods moved in during the early evening. At 08:30p & then again at 09:20, rain rates jumped to the 2"/hr rate. Each period lasted between 15-20 minutes.
Good, bad or indifferent, pretty much wiped out the Water Yr deficit in one evening.

A gloomy end to the year with temps just above freezing.
A snow/drizzle mixture moved in during the late afternoon and early evening & made for an icy mess. Artic air moved in and temps dropped from freezing to almost single digits.
A new snowfall measurement was not practical with the wet snow/water slush combo. The snowboard was covered in ice this am. The snowpack also melted down a bit with the warm condition and has a nice icy crunch.
