I watched a small red blob on radar about 30 miles north of Valdosta GA at 17:30 UTC turn into a line of slow moving intense thunderstorms that stretched from the initial point back 100 miles to the WNW and to the ESE out into the Atlantic and down past Gainsville in less than 20 minutes. The entire system slid slowly to the south with the storms tracking the line out into the Atlantic. It eventually reached the Gulf coast around 2300 UTC.

Another day of fast moving thunderstorms. Lightning detectors logged over 1000 strikes in my 10 mile watch radius.
