Started as rain, turned to snow. Rain collected .31in. Once it turned to snow, at time of checking had 5in of snow on top of rain gauge. Due to prior hot weather, the ground was to warm to collect accurate snowfall level. However my vehicle had 5in of snow on the hood and roof. This was an observation, unable to get an accurate measurement
