The sun emerges briefly at noon, but by 12:50 the next squall had rolled in bringing wind and graupel. The 14:30 event was a mix of wind-driven rain & snow, which rapidly progressed to snow. The flakes seemed to get bigger by the second forming sloppy globs rather than classifiable flakes. Nothing snowy accumulated up to this point. At 15:00 all the precip stopped (although the wind kept up), until 17:15 when the graupel returned, this time with some accumulation. The precip stopped again at 18:45, which is when I measured the 24-hr Snowfall & SWE. The weather was calm after this point. This morning is calm with clear, starry skies. There is a rime of ice on everything, making it treacherous to move around outside. I can not get the SWE for the snowpack, because it a rime of hard, pebbly ice, which I can't cut a cylinder through. But: I got the first numbers for my freezing rain gauge! We have lost 5mb on the barometer, it is 100% humidity, and -1C.
